Come in and play a while!

It’s been a crazy few months, but we are finally having our soft opening today! The cafe isn’t complete but we have coffee!

www.Facebook.com/AMagicForest for hours, info, etc.

Please help!

ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT TO REACH OUR FUNDING GOAL!! We are immensely grateful for all the support we’ve received so far, but we still have a long way to go, if you are able to help make a donation or spread the word. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and my wallet, hehe!)

Here’s the store with its new color and river rock. What a difference! Next up is the fence around the easement and when we finally get our building permits (hopefully by Wednesday before Thanksgiving) we can begin on the french doors on the east side of the building and the interior wall extension for the cafe. The awning will take about a month to produce, so that will come much later, but as soon as my logo is done, we’ll be able to put it on the sign pole.
Speaking of fairies, here’s a special one Ana made for Nova.
If you can ignore the mess, this will give you an idea of the scope of the mural. The white space on the left wall is where the french doors are going in. It’s too bad we couldn’t get those in before the mural, but we’re still waiting on the city to approve the plans and permit it, and we had to get Ana while she was available. Hopefully the guys installing the doors can exercise a little more finesse than usual when demoing the wall, as Ana won’t be in town to do touch-ups until after Christmas.
Ana’s mural alone is worth the $8 price of admission to play.  When we brought Nova into the store this past weekend, she ran from creature to creature, exclaiming, “Fairy! Deer! Another fairy!”
Here’s a better pic of the playhouse, with a little more detail on the windows.
The playhouse is almost finished!

It’s starting to look like A Magic Forest

Check it out! My amazing muralist, Ana, is working her magic. This is a work in progress, but you can already see the beauty. The back room is the party room and eventually will also be a classroom. You can’t tell from this picture, but the colors in that room change like the rainbow as you go around the room.  I’m so excited!
